Former African player of the year, ex-everton FC player and ex-super eagles player Victor Ikpeba, has openly declare his vote for the presidential aspirant of APC, Gen Buhari, in next election in February 2015.
Over the past few days, there is report going viral from the conventional media and the social media that military office could not find the certificate of Gen Buhari.
Former super eagles player Victor Ikpeba, says that “Even if Buhari presents NEPA bill as certificate, I will vote for him” .
However, according to Nigeria constitution section 13 b, says
” That every individual aspiring for the highest public office in the country must have degree certificate, but doesn’t need to released it out for verification ” .
But according to INEC Act 2007, says that every individual seeking for the highest public office must released out their certificate to the INEC offices for verification.
Since then many of Buhari loyalist has being speculated that this may dis-allowed him of contesting against president Jonathan, in the next presidential election .
INEC, Act 2007, further says that only the candidate himself can dis-allowed himself from contesting for the election or death can also dis-allowed them contesting for the election , because aspirant name have being submitted to INEC for election.
