Over the past few years, The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has being in romance relationship with the opposition party All Progressives Congress (APC), but according to press statement released out to the general public reported that he has defected from the ruling party Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He made his official declaration of his defection this afternoon, October 28, at the house plenary and is reported to be interested in running for the governorship of Sokoto State on the platform of the APC.
Aminu Tambuwal, enter into the house of representatives from his constituency in Sokoto State, but with help of the opposition party he was appointed as the speaker of the house. Aminu Tambuwal,had previously been expressing sentiments sympathetic to the cause of the APC and even attended a meeting of the opposition party in Sokoto.
The speaker was said to have adjourned the sitting of the House to December 3 after his declaration, which he was required by law to make to his colleagues.
