The level at which Nigerian university are closing down in recent days needs total intervention from ministry of education and federal government.
Couple of days ago, I reported to you that a 500 level student named Tunji Epketi Micheal, of University of Ibadan, was rusticated from the school after final decision from the school management. Though, the about to graduate student has speak out that he didn’t do any thing criminal to deserve that judgment from school management.
In another development, the students of University of Ibadan stage protest at the school premises to protest over the horrible judgment giving the rusticated 500 level student of the school, which later led to the management to shut down the school until further notice.
According to source speaking exclusive to GY, says that a notice was sent out to all the students on Tuesday to vacate from the school premises before 4.PM as the university will go on break for sometime now. The notice also said that students from nearby universities; Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Federal College of Technology, Ibadan among others joined in the protests wearing masks to “disturb the much cherished peace and tranquility on campus… (and) threaten the lives and property of the entire University community.”
