American president Donald Trump welcomed Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari to the white house for a meeting to discuss Security, Economy, Nigeria-US relationships top the agenda.
At exactly 5: PM Nigeria time, President Buhari arrives the oval office of President Donald Trump at the white house, Washington DC. During the press conference, President Donald Trump reportedly said that Nigeria receives $1b in aid every year from the US.
Though the press conference started with Trump saying Today I’m honored to host President Buhari in the Rose Garden. Truly a pleasure. The US values Nigeria’s role as a democratic leader in Africa.
Donald Trump said that the United State of American is concerned about the burning of churches and killing & persecution of Christians in Nigeria. And they we help Nigeria to fight terrorism. Trump further said that American sold Nigeria 12 military equipment in the first-ever sale of American weapons.
