Buhari’s Daughter Isolated After Returning from the UK
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari‘s daughter has been ordered into a self-isolation process after she returns to the country on Thursday, due to coronavirus prevention, according to report.
Nigeria’s First Lady and Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, made this known to the general public through an official statement via her official Twitter handle, as she said her daughter was isolated not because she showed any symptoms but “based on the advice of the Hon. Minister Of Health, Presidential Taskforce on COVID – 19.”

However, Aisha Buhari did not disclose the identity of her daughter. She returns to the country after the Nigerian government placed a travel ban on countries that have recorded over 1000 coronavirus cases, which the UK is part of the banned county.
As yesterday, 56,221 people have been tested in the UK, of which 53,595 were confirmed negative and 2,626 were confirmed positive. 103 patients in the UK who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
Based on the advice of the Hon. Minister Of Health , Presidential Task force on COVID – 19 and that of NCDC, She is on Self Isolation, not because she displayed any symptoms of the Covid-19 .
