Once friends means brotherhood for life. International Nigeria sensational Afro pop superstar D’banj, has reveled out that his next studio album will be produced by his former label mate business partner Don Jazzy.
The separation between Super star D’banj and Award wining producer Don Jazzy, bring an end to the era of Mo Hits Records in Nigeria music scene in early 2011.
Speaking with UK base radio presenter and TV personality, Tim Westwood, he reveled out that he is planning to do a Best of D’Banj album for his forthcoming 10th anniversary and that he is getting Don Jazzy to produce the album.
He revealed, “For my 10th anniversary, I am thinking of doing a Best of D’Banj”. However the date for the album is yet to be decided, but fans can expect anything short of a master piece as the combination of the self acclaimed Entertainer and maverick music producer as bring birth to numerous hits song in the past.
They both work together timeless albums such as ” No Long Thing” album in ( 2005), ” Run Down Funk U Up” album in (2006), the Mo’hits compilation album, ” Curriculum Vitae” in ( 2007) and the ” The Entertainer” album in ( 2008) . Not to forget the sensation hit song of ”Oliver Twist” that was welcome around the world.
Upon their break up, Don Jazzy gave birth to Marvin Records with Wande Coal, Dr Sid, D’Prince and Songstress Tiwa Savage while D’banj, started DR Records with his younger brother Kay Switch, has first artiste on the label.
