Chelsea fired Adrian Mutu, a Romanian striker after he was found guilty of cocaine use in 2004. Mutu was eventually suspended from football for seven months, from May 2005 to May 2006.
Following his suspension, the striker, who had joined Chelsea for over £16 million, returned to football, playing for Juventus, Fiorentina, and Pune City in India, among other clubs.
