Former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke was allegedly spotted walking freely on the street of London, United Kingdom. The ex-petroleum minister was embroiled in corruption charges both in the UK and Nigeria’s EFCC.
Though, an investigation into the corruption charges against Diezani was started in the UK, where she is set to face trial soon, while Nigeria’s Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reported to have seized multi-billion naira property belonging to her.
However, Diezani alongside with four other will be facing corruption trial in UK, which will kick off by June,2017. Even though her trial is set to start in two months time, Diezani who seemed to have gone underground in the last couple of months, has surfaced.
The embattled former minister was spotted taking a stroll through the streets of London. She looked hale and hearty and like her usual self, as she soaked up the sun.
In the first and only interview Diezani granted to veteran journalist Chief Dele Momodu, disclosed that she has been diagnosed with cancer and had to get urgent medical attention.
