Nigeria international music superstar David Adeleke, known as Davido, signed a historical music recording deal with Sony Music, at their headquarters in New York, USA yesterday night.
The ” Aye ” crooner Davido becomes first African artist to sign a lucrative recording deal with Sony Music , which is first of its kind in a decade and its value around $1Million.
Sony Music is an American music corporation managed and operated by Sony Corporation of America (SCA), a subsidiary of Japanese conglomerate Sony Corporation.
The Sony Music deal that Davido sealed and signed gives him opportunity to create, distribute and market his music at a world-class level.
The Sony Music record deal that Davido sign was orchestrated and executed by Nigeria raised, American music executive and most sought after A&R Efe Ogbeni, who is partner with Nicki Minaj on Parker Ighile‘s project, facilitated by Davido‘s manager Kamal Ajiboye, moderated by Joel Katz (Number-One-ranked entertainment attorney by Billboard) and Adam Granite (VP of Sony Music International).
