With less down few hours to the highly anticipated Black Friday, leading Nigeria online shopping mall Konga.com has recorded over N110 Millions of orders since the commencement of its Konga’s Yakata awool sales deal ( the e-tailer’s version of Black Friday) early hours of today.
According to the CEO of the e-commerce site Sim Shagaya, says that they have recorded N110 Millions orders in its first four hours and he was pleased to announced the success of its business on social media.

That’s not only update coming from Sim Shagaya. KongaPay, a Konga‘s proprietary payment gateway has further proceed more transactions within period than any other gateway.

The KongaPay‘s is payment gateway that gives customers 5% discount on any order purchased using the platform.
Though Black Friday officially started on November 27th, but the tradition has been tweaked in US and other parts of the world to accommodate their local realities, Konga started its Black Friday early hours of today, ahead of others e-commerce sites in Nigeria such as Jumia, Yudala and others.
The leading e-commerce heavyweight giant company such as Amazon and Bestbuy have started posting deals since last week.
