Nigeria Afro-pop singer and diva Yemi Alade was among notable entertainers from African continent that attend the just concluded BET Awards 2016 and the interesting part of her presence yesterday was that she made a bold fashion statement on the red carpet as she spotted wearing a piece from celebrated designer Zuhair Murad’s 2016 Resort Collection.
The dress the Effyzzie Music act Yemi wore reportedly cost a staggering sum of N2,500,000. The “Johnny “ crooner Yemi Alade was nominated for the “Best International Act: Africa” for this year edition of BET Awards 2016 and she wore minimal make-up and jewelry and allowed the expensive dress do all the talking.
Yemi Alade who released her praised jewelry collection last year, will also be unveiling her fashion label “House of Tangerine (H.O.T) “, at the 2016 African Fashion Week Nigeria and London.
