Racism is gradually worsen everyday in football world and its need urgent intervention by the football governing body, FIFA. On April 30th, former Inter Millan and Ghanaian Footballer Sulley Muntari, who currently played for Pescari FC in Italy, walked away from football pitch mid-match following racist chanting by fans.
According to Sulley Muntari, said this situation is far rare from the usually occurrence and a problem that he is no longer willing to keep quiet about.
Speaking out about the shocking issue to CNN, the Ghanaian player claims that racism occurs in “every match”.
Today, he has taken to Twitter with a video aiming to pass his message on to FIFA and any other players who have found themselves in a similar situation. Check it out below:
