Just days ago, the national leader of All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu blasts former National Assembly Speaker and Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, hoping that he would lose the Governorship Supplementary election in the State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared the Governor, who is the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as the winner of the Sokoto State Governorship election.
Aminu Tambuwal of the PDP, scored the highest votes in the Sokoto State Governorship election, after polling a total of 512,002, from both the March 9, first ballot, and Saturday’s supplementary election.
Ahmad Aliyu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, came close behind, with 511,661 votes, losing to his erstwhile Principal, with just 341 votes.
