Wizkid Becomes First African Artiste to Hit 8Million Monthly Listeners On Music Streaming Giant, Spotify
Nigerian Afro-pop music superstar Wizkid becomes African most listened artiste on music streaming platform Spotify, with 8M monthly listeners. This feat comes following just-released collaboration with British rapper Kojo Funds titled ” Like ”.
A few days ago, Wizkid had around over 6Million monthly listeners on Spotify, but recent data fact check revealed that he had soared higher in numbers as he hit 8Million monthly listeners on the platform.
Wizkid has the highest monthly listeners on Spotify in Nigeria with over 6million monthly listeners, Mr Eazi and burna boy are the second and third with 5.6m and 4m monthly listeners respectively pic.twitter.com/2z9Se2Y7ly

With this latest achievement, Wizkid has overtaken the previous record held by Congolese rapper and singer, Maitre Gims, who had 7Million monthly listeners.
