After spending 2 days for his surprise visits to Nigeria on Tuesday, and later departs for Kenyan, founder and CEO of largest online social networking platform Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg returned back to Nigeria in order to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari and vice-president Yemi Osibanjo at the state house in Abuja.
He was a surprise guest to the grand finale of Aso Rock Demo Day, where he shared his wealth of knowledge with Nigerian youths, and inspiring a new generation of entrepreneurs. Aso Rock Demo Day is an initiative by Nigerian government to find entrepreneurs with idea of improving and creating more jobs to the society..
After that he hold a close door meeting with President Buhari and Osibanjo at state house Abuja, where he said the energy and entrepreneurship in Nigeria is amazing…I can’t wait to come back again. Zuckerberg was seen showing the President a drone named – Aquila – a solar-powered aircraft that will beam internet connectivity to places that don’t have it.
