Multiple Award-winning rapper Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, goes by with the stage name Wale, is a 37-year-old American rapper.
Wale first gained international recognition in 2006 when his song, Dig Dug, became popular in the American music scene. He is widely regarded as an influence on several contemporary hip hop and alternative acts.
He is currently signed to Allido Records and has released multiple mixtapes as well as appearing in national media.
He was born in the Nigerian state of Ogun.
