Years back, MoHits Records is one of biggest label in African and Nigeria, The label have front leaders such as D’banj, Don Jazzy, alongside with others acts such as Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, D’Prince and Kay-Switch.
However in early 2012, ace music producer Don Jazzy and his longtime friends and business partner D’banj, part ways in irrecoverable manner that hunt millions of their fans around the world. During those process D’banj form his own label called DB Records and his also signed his brother Kay-Switch , to the label, while the likes of Wande Coal, Dr.Sid and D’Prince went alongside with Don Jazzy, to formed Marvin Records.
Toward the ending of last year, Don Jazzy and Wande Coal part ways in another shit manner. Don Jazzy Accuses Wande Coal for Stolen his Music “Baby Face”.
In recent interview Dr.Sid, granted to The Sun in Lagos , last week he reveal that the crew is not missing the energy and creativity of D’banj.
He said:
“We are not missing Dbanj, no, not at all. He is doing so well and he has gone on to drop a couple of hits and the same goes for Mavin; we have dominated the last two years of Nigerian music no doubt so we are also doing so well.”
