Buhari’s Daughter Wedding to Fashola’s Aide, Muhammad Turad
Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari‘s daughter Hanan Buhari tie the nuptial knot with her longtime boyfriend, Mohammed Turad Sha’aban, today at the Presidential villa today, Friday, September 4, 2020.
Today was a special day in the family of our dear president as he alongside his adorable wife, who’s Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari gives out their daughter’s hand in marriage at a lavish wedding ceremony at the Presidential Villa.
According to reports, Hanan, whose real name is Aisha (named after her mother), has been in a relationship with Mohammed for quite some time. And her happily mother Aisha Buhari, shared the photos from the wedding ceremony with a congratulatory caption. According to the report, the wedding ceremony was attended by only a few family members and some selected associates of their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“In view of the current COVID-19 pandemic and compliance with the directives of the relevant health authorities of the country, usual gathering in such events will not, therefore, be healthy. We, therefore, use this medium to request you to bear witness of the matrimony as we also solicit for your prayers for the success of the occasion,” the wedding invitation had read.
Muhammad Turad Sha’aban is the son of Honourable Sani Sha’aban, a former lawmaker who represented Sabon Gari, Zaria in the 5th Assembly, and was also a former gubernatorial candidate in the 2007 and 2011 elections.
According to reports, Turad Sha’aban is a financial expert who is a special adviser to former Lagos state governor and current minister of works, Babatunde Fashola. While Hanan is a graduate of photography from Ravensbourne University in England.
