Nigerian music superstar and DMW‘s boss David Adeleke, known as Davido joined the ongoing #EndSARS protester movement in the nation’s capital Abuja, as he promised hours ago on his social media profiles. However, the presence of the ” FEM ” singer was a huge boost for the Abuja’s protesters.

Apparently, the End Sars protest in Abuja was met with resistance from the police who fired gunshots at the protesters. A water cannon was also used by the police to dispel the protesters.
However, his presence in Abuja, ensures that he was able to negotiate the release of all protesters who were earlier arrested by the police.
I’m on ground right now in Abuja and it’s chaos !! Whaaaaaat????? Over 20 protesters were arrested for no reason and they must be released .. they were shot at and arrested!! We can not take this!

The DMW boss encouraged Nigerians not to give up until their demands are met and that the protest must continue to be peaceful.
Amidst it all. We must not forget the reasons we are protesting, we must not forget the peaceful manner of the protests and we must most certainly not back down until our demands are met! Sars ending is a great start but the task is far from completed! pic.twitter.com/DdlYqca49x

Nigerian police men in Abuja pointed at Davido.

The police started shooting teargas and calmed down when they realised it was Davido and Segalink leading protesters in Abuja.
You see why I always said celebrities, politicians and richkids should be in front of protest. Those mad policemen will think twice.
Kudos to Davido 👍🏽
