Nigerian pop star, Sony Music/RCA Records act and label executive Davido has denied the report that duo of Dammy Krane and Lola Rae are not signed onto his DMW‘s record label.
The ” Omo Baba Olowo ” crooner disclosed this fact during his recent interview at Lagos radio station – Soundcity 98.5FM – Dammy Krane and Lola Rae were not truly signed to him.
“My only artistes are Mayorkun, Dremo and Yonda. Lola Rae and Dammy Krane are not signed to me,” Davido said. “There is no contract, but we are all family.”
Sometimes in late last year, a report surface online that Davido rescued the career of Dammy Krane, whose contract expired from 2face‘s Hypertek Entertainment and British born Nigerian female songstress Lola Rae were not signed to Davido‘s DMW label.
After signing his lucrative deal Sony Music in early last year, Davido expand his business coast away from his family business — HKN Music with the announcement that he has floats his own label called Davido Music Worldwide (DWM).
The label started off with announcement of Mayorkun and Dremo as the first signee on the label, follow by another announcement of Ichaba and the latest were Dammy Krane and Lola Rae who were not official signed to the label according to Davido‘s latest statement on Soundcity 98.5 FM.
