After several weeks of anticipation, the Soundcity MVP Awards 2019 returns for its third edition with full of glamour, glitz, and excitement at the prestigious Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Soundcity MVP Awards 2019 had over 20-Million viewers across the continent of Africa, as sensational Nigerian Afro-Fusion music superstar Burna Boy and most loved artiste of the moment Teniola was the star of the award gala night.
The ” Ye ” crooner Burna Boy steal the night with the highly coveted “Africa Artist of the Year” while Davido and Wizkid got one award each.
Sensational artiste of the moment Teniola wins the ” Best New Act ” category ahead of Peruzzi, while Patoranking‘s ” Heal the World ‘‘ went home the “Video of the Year” award.
South Africa’s Afro-House superstar Busiswa wins ” Best Female MVP ” ahead of Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage, Simi, Niniola and Yemi Alade.
The likes of Jidenna, Busiswa, Niniola, Patoranking, Victor AD, Teni, AKA many others entertaining the audience with their various hit singles until the early hours of this morning.
