Caffeine has been shown to improve endurance and athletic performance. Anyone who works out frequently will be familiar with the aches and pains that come with aching muscles. According to the Journal of Applied Physiology, trainees who ingested caffeine along with carbohydrates had 65 percent more glycogen than athletes who only consumed carbs.
Glycogen is required for healthy muscle function; boosting these levels will allow muscles to operate more efficiently and recover more quickly. Caffeine is good for athletes who train out on a daily basis and require assistance in reducing fatigue and inflammation. Caffeine, on the other hand, did not help with muscle mass building.
8. Coffee May Help Prevent Certain Cancers
A daily cup of Joe has been promoted as an excellent strategy to prevent certain malignancies. Women who consumed at least three cups of coffee each day lowered their risk of endometrial cancer by up to 25% compared to women who did not drink coffee on a regular basis.
Male coffee drinkers had a decreased risk of prostate cancer. Furthermore, coffee consumers were found to have a lower risk of acquiring rectal, breast, liver, and colon cancer.
9. Consuming Coffee Can Improve Liver Health
Coffee not only reduces cancer in the liver, but it also protects it from numerous sorts of injuries. Most notably, cirrhosis is caused by excessive alcohol consumption.
