Nigerian music producer Northboi, who’s known for his production credit on Wizkid‘s 2018 hit single ” Soco ”, is dragging Baba Nla of Africa Music on social media for not giving him the credit he deserves to his just-released single ” Joro ”.
It’s no doubt that M.I Abaga response to Vector‘s diss track has taken over the industry juices discussion both online and offline, but right now a former producer and associate of Wizkid, is dragging him both front and back on Twitter, and it’s a major topic on Nigeria social media space.
NorthBoi came into the music scene after he produced Wizkid’s 2018 hit ‘Soco‘. ‘Soco’ featured new music acts like Terri, Spotless and Ceeza Milli.
Although NorthBoi did not actually call out Wizkid for not giving him appropriate credits, his tweets were very suggestive as seen below.
imagine being so powerful person wey you do beat for dey fear to promote you make you no pass am.
Na my hand you collect your last global hit. after me all you have is ojuelegba and dont dull.

Everything all started when Wizkid took to Twitter to acknowledge Killertunes for his upcoming album, urging fans to follow the producer as well.
Killatunes a great man!! Love you my bro. Appreciate you for everything ! Y’all follow @Killertunes_Tii and show him love for everything! Man finished my album! ❤️❤️❤️

However, Killertunes, also a producer for Wizkid (who they claim to have produced ‘Joro’) has been credited for his effort in the forthcoming album, and he also responds to Northboi open call-out on social media to Wizkid:
If no be love wey I get for my chairman , wenti be concern me concern aboki before

Following a sub at NorthBoi by Killertunes, the angry producer eventually rants in a series of tweets to both Wizkid and Killertunes below:

Another long-time collaborator who had parted away with Wizkid, Sarz responds to the tweet his usual sarcastic fashion quoted Wizkid’s tweet saying “But him no get global hit naw.”

In another revelation by Northboi, following Twitter users telling him that he’s full for not signing a contract with Wizkid, before working with him. He responds to it that Wizkid had threatened him with a gun if he did not release the beat to Joro.
This same act was revealed by Northboi who said ‘Joro’ was not the first time Wizkid would be pulling such a stunt at him as he had done the same with his song with Damian Marley.
