Following the outcome of PDP presidential primaries, whereby the former Vice-President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar emerged as the party candidate for the forthcoming 2019 general election.
Nigeria’s Senate President and one of the leading aspirant for the party ticket has bow out as he accepts defeat, and also congratulates the party flag-bearer Atiku Abubakar for clinching the party ticket.
Over 3,600 delegates across the 36 state casted their vote for the PDP presidential primary election held at the Adokiye National Stadium, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, and Bukola Saraki came third with 317 votes.
