One of the Senior Special Assistant President Buhari on Digital & New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi has described Nigerians as an ” Animals ” & ” Mad ”, over the way they openly disrespect Naomi Campbell, over her meet-up with President Buhari yesterday, in Lagos.
Naomi Campbell met Nelson Mandela more than once. He hugged her, called her his “honorary granddaughter”. She visits Nigeria for a fashion festival and meets President @MBuhari, and some of you animals are slandering her.

When the image of President Buhari hanging out with Naomi Campbell surfaced online yesterday online, Nigerians don’t buy into that PR blunder from the presidency, as they took to social media to express their views on the meet-up.
This Naomi Campbell drama has made me realise that ‘olosho’ is just a word that insecure guys, that have failed in some aspect of their lives , use to make themselves feel better about successful women https://t.co/X78tf8WgJt

Naomi Campbell is suddenly a prostitute because she took a picture with a man most of you hate?
What is painful is that some women are following these unfortunate men to spread this olosho narrative.
God help you all

Synonyms for ‘animal’ include brute, beast, monster, savage, devil, demon, fiend, villain, barbarian, ogre, according to the Oxford Dictionary https://t.co/xzIGEUaxpO https://t.co/5PSXqYKTY4

He finally comes out to address and also clarify the word ” Animal ”, he used in his previous tweet.
I’d like to clarify. I would NEVER describe/think of Nigerians, or those who disagree with me, as ‘animals’. My comment specific to those who thought it appropriate to denigrate/“slander” Naomi Campbell. Tweet should have been worded clearer & less provocatively. Lesson learnt. https://t.co/vnkyo0QPaM
