Gabonese national team captain and Arsenal FC forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has declared his support for Nigeria’s Super Eagles to go far in Russia 2018 World Cup.
The former Borussia Dortmund striker who signed for the London based club this January reported said that he’s rooting for the Nigerian team on twitter also asked his fellow Arsenal teammate, Alex Iwobi to secure the famous Nigerian World cup kit for him, a request the Nigerian midfielder responded positively to.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria is in the Group D, alongside with South-American giant Argentina, Croatia & Iceland. Their first match is between Croatia on Saturday 16th of June, follows by Iceland on 22nd of June & Argentina on 26th of June.
