On Tuesday 14th of August, a report surfaced online that Nigeria’s Acting President Prof.Yemi Osinbajo has ordered Inspector-General of Nigerian Police, Ibrahim Idris to “overhaul the management and activities” of the notorious anti-robbery Police unit, SARS…
However, after the announcement on Tuesday, several Nigerians took to social media to expressed their happiness toward the decision of Nigeria’s acting president Prof.Yemi Osinbajo to shut down the notorious police unit, after over eight months of outcry among Nigeria.
According to one Twitter observer Mr. Fix Nigeria, who takes us on a journey of what we can be described as a clarification for total confusion on who should we truly give kudos to between Buhari & Osinbajo for the total overhaul of SARS.
Based on the findings of the Nigerian Twitter user, Nigeria’s President Buhari has already ordered his vice-president Osinbajo to look into the restructuring of the anti-robbery squad SARS, about 2 months ago before the announcement of Osinbajo days ago.
