Nigerian music superstar and Starboy Entertainment boss Wizkid has come under attacks over his absence at the Coachella Music Festival, California over the weekend. Although, Beyonce stole the show with her stunning performance and dance stunts with her sister Solange Knowles. Beyonce’s performance gave birth to the hashtag, #BeyChella which has been trending on all social media platforms since she performed at Coachella.
Beyonce also surprised fans with her Destiny’s child reunion while performing. However, as we all Wizkid was expected to perform alongside Beyoncé, Cardi B, but eventually did not show up. But the organizers of the festival assured that Wizkid would be performing next week.
We are sorry to announce that Wizkid is unable to make it into the country to join us this weekend but will be performing next weekend.

However, some Nigerians were highly disappointed and frustrated at the sudden change of plans, as they took a swipe at Wizkid. They called him out over his attitude towards fans.

Saying Wizkid is lazy is weak. Boi had nothing, no rich parents, no money, no connects. Just talent and will, he turned all that into getting booked to perform on the same night as Beyonce. You don’t achieve that by being lazy in the music industry. Sit your hurt asses down.
